Did any of you guys hold down the 'b' button when playing say, Red or Blue, thinking it made it easier to catch a pokemon?

Just listening to Alex Day's 117% Complete album made me remember this, so I thought I'd ask you guys if you did. Cause I know I did. xD

What about the whole rumour about the truck you use strength to move the truck and find a pokeball that has mew? Anyone know about or try that?

I did the hold B thing. I just couldn't wait doing nothing while the game decided if I could get my pokémon or wat. IT FELT LIKE CENTURIES.

I tried the truck thing. You must prevent the SS Anne from leaving and then surf around it. Doesn't work.

But it doesn't work sometimes when catching high-level pokemons or legendary pokemons
