| Yep, he finally died not to long ago. Id never think a character that got so much hype over his loyal yet contradicting ways and good looks would finally be killed off. But to save you some time and ill try and sum up his death. The soul society is in a battle with Quincys, Byakuya gets into a fight with one that is able to uses a zanpakuto power against their owners. AS i thought, DAMN thats going to be hard to beat knowing how good that sword is. Anyway, later in the fight Renji and Rukia come to help Renji using Shikai on the Quincy. While Renji attacks Byakuya attempts to use his shikai against the Quincy who counters with a storm of Senbonzakura Kageyoshi the storm of blades are so powerful that they send Byakuya crashing into a nearby wall. Byakuya asks that Renji and Rukia forgive him as his ZanpakutÅ breaks into pieces and he apparently dies from his wounds. If youd like to read he died in chapter 502...  | |
